Ultraviolet Systems
Ultraviolet systems are an effective way to sterilise water at source. The high intensity UV omitted from the lamps kills most bacteria at source. This is particularly effective for point of use applications such as a contaminated water mains or direct drinking water outlets. Ultraviolet is also effective on recirculating systems such as cooling water, or process of closed loop. The correct MJ/KJ is selected depending upon application.
DSW can supply, install, repair and service their own DSW 360 SD-UV range and can also service and repair other brands of UV.
A full service can include clean and/or replacement of quartz sleeves, lamps, O rings and ballasts. UV intensity monitors are checked for accuracy. DSW can also supply and install suitable pre filtration to protect the UV’s quartz sleeve.
